Inparajah Mylvaganam
Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sinnathamby Mylvaganam of Kallady, Batticaloa and eldest son-in-law of the late Mr. and Mrs. S.M. Lena of Thannamunai, passed away peacefully at his home in Markham, Ontario on August 18th, 2015. He will be dearly missed by Nirmala, his beloved wife of 40 years, his children Iniyal, Thesuhi and Puhalenthi, grandchildren Isabel, Alexander and Gavin, sons-in-law Randy and Mithran, siblings Arulrajah, Rawindrarajah and Vathsala Devi. He will also be missed by his loving in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
He departs with an unblemished record as a disciplined husband, father and friend. A self-made man, he returned to school as a mature student and was called to the bar of Ontario as a Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public. A keen legal scholar with a nuanced understanding of the law, his capacity to explain complicated matters in a simple way was unparallel. Despite being stricken with problems to his vision in 2004, he managed his practice with efficiency and compassion. His clients were highly impressed by his intelligence, his courtesy and most of all his humility. Generous to a fault, his unhesitating intervention comforted and empowered the most vulnerable members of our community.
